Designed and built a fully automated assembly system to assemble fuzes. Assembled on two (2) integrated, twenty four (24) station AMi rotary dial machines. Cycle time on this system was approximately three (3) seconds with a gross output of twenty (20) parts per minute. Sub assembly built on machine #1, then fed via non-synchronous conveyor system to machine #2 for final assembly. Processes included staking, push test, critical measurement inspections, tray loading, and locktite dispense.
