Customer wanted us to build an automated assembly module to assemble 2 styles of a 3 piece Tether Assembly. The system included 2 feeder bowls and a magazine system to feed the main assembly dial. The machine ran at 22 ppm and included automatic loading and probe operations.
Work performed:
Customer wanted us to provide a pallet based conveyor system to transport metal frames from 2 Porta machining centers to an automated assembly system we had previously installed. The conveyor system was integrated with the machining centers, the frames were transported through a washer and presented to the assembly machine. We provided all material, traffic control and installation.
Work performed:
Customer wanted us to build an assembly system integrating 2 rotary dials and an inline test module. The 3 modules are controlled by a common PLC. The first module builds a sub assembly and then it is transported to the second module via a belt conveyor for final assembly and test. Processes included with this equipment are, ultrasonic weld, spin weld, vision inspection, leak and flow test and laser date code.
Work performed:
The customer required us to build a machine to assemble fuses for a hand grenade. The assembly was tooled on a precision link carousel. The output of the machine was 20ppm. Processes on the machine included powder load and packing, crimping, dispensing of sealant, UV cure of sealant and vision inspection.
Work performed:
The customer required us to unload parts from a mold machine, pre-assemble them and then transport them to a rotary dial machine where the 2 halves are ultrasonically welded and then inspected with a vision system.
Work performed:
The customer required us to integrate a Motoman 6 axis robot to automatically place roll pins in an 8 cavity injection molding machine. The roll pins were fed from a vibratory feeder bowl, shuttled and then removed by the robot and placed into the mold.
